Aberdeen Cyrenians’ 2025–2030 strategy set out an ambitious vision: tackle homelessness and poverty by working upstream of crisis and in closer partnership with the community.
But to make that vision real, they needed more than a publication - they needed to inspire belief, spark cross-sector action, and secure the confidence of government and funders alike.
Where strategy, storytelling and influence meet
We framed the campaign around a clear message: From Co-Design to Co-Delivery. Our role spanned narrative development, design, campaign delivery, and event strategy, positioning Aberdeen Cyrenians as a system-level convenor and trusted leader in upstream intervention.
- Narrative + document design: Refined and designed the full strategy document, creating a narrative that combined clarity of ambition with policy relevance and emotional resonance.
- Stakeholder launch event: Advised on and supported a stakeholder drinks reception to share the strategy in an engaging, relationship-building format.
- Government engagement: Supported direct engagement with Scottish Government leaders, aligning messaging to national policy priorities.
- Ministerial roundtable: Curated and facilitated a roundtable hosted at Aberdeen Cyrenians’ service centre. Cabinet Secretary for Housing Màiri McAllan joined as guest of honour, met service users, and heard delivery insights from diverse stakeholders - elevating the organisation’s convening power and deepening political relationships.
Project highlights
The roundtable positioned Aberdeen Cyrenians as a convener of insight and action - securing meaningful government engagement from the outset of delivery.
The theme From Co-Design to Co-Delivery became a strategic anchor for future advocacy, partnership development, and funding engagement.
Signalling readiness to lead systemic change
Aspect helped turn a corporate strategy into a catalyst for delivery. From ministerial roundtables to grassroots storytelling, we created the conditions for others to step in, act and invest.
The launch didn’t just raise awareness - it built alignment, deepened trust and signalled that Aberdeen Cyrenians is ready to lead upstream systems change.
“Aspect helped us do more than launch a strategy. They created a shared language and platform that invited others to join us in delivering it.”
